Myriam-Catharina is a self-taught, independent singer-songwriter from Moers in Germany, who launched her solo career in September 2023 with the song “I Miss Me.” Born with an innate passion for singing, her musical journey began in childhood. Since she was a little girl, she has loved to sing. Growing up with MTV and VIVA, she discovered a deep connection to Black music, particularly hip hop and R&B, which have been her constant companions ever since.
As Myriam-Catharina began to explore her music and herself more deeply, she delved into jazz and blues. She has been greatly influenced by legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, and Billie Holiday. Her original songs blend contemporary R&B, neo-soul, jazz and Motown with a mix of vintage charm and modern elements.
